Crystals are one of my favourite gems to use for soothing myself when I’m anxious, decorating my home, or using when I am doing crystal healing for my clients.
I have found in my time, many of my clients use crystal in their daily lives to benefit their mind, body, and soul. Crystals can help us to work on a spiritual and energetic level because when we hold the crystal, it emits natural vibrations that promote energy healing in our bodies and surroundings.
Because of the work that I am in, I find it essential to cleanse my crystals. When I get them, I do not know whose energies have been touching them. Crystals travel vast distances, which may be exposed to different energies that may or may not be compatible with yours.
When I use crystals for healing, I always am mindful to cleanse them before my clients arrive, as they may have absorbed negative energy from surrounding areas. I’ve discovered that once I’ve restored my crystals to their natural state, they are ready to offer natural energy charge and healing to my client’s body. I’ve discovered that it’s beneficial to cleanse and recharge it regularly. When the crystal feels heavy, I know it’s time for a cleansing.
These are some of the methods I use to cleanse and recharge my crystals; perhaps they will be useful to you as well…
Ways of Cleansing Your Crystals:
❖ Sound Vibrations – Tingsha Bells, Singing Bowls, and Tuning Forks
❖ Lay your crystals alongside Selenite, Quartz, or Amethyst to rid the negativity
❖ By using Sage, Palo, or Incense, you may smudge with Sage or use the smoke to cleanse your crystals
❖ Allow your crystals to bath in the moon rays overnight to cleanse
❖ Sunlight but please be careful as it may fade your crystals (Amethyst, Fluorite, Kunzite, Aquamarine, Rose Quartz, and Smoky Quartz to name a few)
❖ Cleansing with rain water or salt water but do not use these crystals as they are delicate (Selenite, Malachite, Calcite, Citrine, Kyanite, Kunzite, Fluorite, Celestite, Lepidolite and Turquoise to name a few)
Recharge your Crystals:
❖ You may place them in a copper pyramid
❖ Use Clear Quartz or Amethyst to give your crystal an energy boost
❖ Use sound vibration to recharge – tingsha bells, singing bowls, tuning forks
❖ You may place them in moonlight or the sun to charge but please be careful as the sun may fade your beautiful colours.
How to program and activate your crystals:
❖ Find a quiet place to sit or lie down. Relax and take a few deep breaths.
❖ Once you have cleansed your crystal, hold your crystal in your hands and imagine a ball of energy light up your crystal.
❖ Visualise what you would like to manifest in your life and say, “I desire for this crystal to assist me with the highest good (then say what you are requesting).”
While concentrating on your crystal, set a clear goal for yourself:
❖ Self-confidence
❖ Positivity
❖ Stress relief
❖ Attracting love or
❖ Financial or career success
Many different types of crystals can be used to activate your intentions:
❖ Clear Quartz – for all intentions
❖ Selenite – represents purity, tranquillity, and clarity
❖ Lapis Lazuli – promotes self-awareness, intuition, and focus
❖ Amethyst – helps with stress reduction, intuition, tranquillity, and inner peace
❖ Rose Quartz – is related to love for all purposes
❖ Citrine – represents success, joy, abundance, and prosperity
❖ Pyrite – Financial Success
❖ Carnelian – Creativity
❖ Black Tourmaline – Grounding and protection
